Research has revealed that pay for workers in their 30s is still 7% below the level at which it peaked before the 2008 banking crisis.
The report uses some sharp language saying that the crisis has had a “scarring” effect on their earnings.
While it’s hard to argue against the facts, it’s no reason for people in their 30s to be too glum. A sensible and holistic approach to financial planning, reflecting a person’s financial goals and ‘life’ priorities leading to a resilient plan, reviewed regularly, to deliver the desired outcomes.
